About this product

Heavy-Duty Work Belts

A work belt does a different job from a dress belt, and the difference is thickness. A thin strap under sustained load elongates at the hole in use and eventually tears from one hole to the next, and no amount of good leather at the wrong thickness prevents it.

A roller buckle matters too. It reduces the abrasion of the strap dragging over a fixed bar every time the belt is fastened, and on a belt worn every day for years that abrasion is what wears the strap through.

We punch the holes rather than cut them and finish them so the edge is sealed. An unfinished punched hole wicks moisture into the leather from the inside, which is a slow failure most people never connect back to the hole.

FAQ

Heavy-Duty Work Belts: quick answers

What is the minimum order for work belts?
Minimum order is just 12 — with bulk pricing tiers as quantities grow.
How fast will my order arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and the finished order ships in about 2 weeks — express turnaround is available for tight dates.
Why do work belts tear at the holes?
Because the strap is too thin for the load. Under sustained tension the leather elongates at the hole and eventually tears from one to the next. It is a thickness problem, not a leather-quality problem, and thickness is the cheapest thing to specify correctly.
Roller buckle or fixed bar?
Roller, on anything worn every day. The strap drags across the bar every time the belt is fastened, and over years that abrasion is what wears it through. On a dress belt worn occasionally it does not matter.
